Ingredients of Spicy Korean Chicken and Rice

  1. You need 4 of chicken thighs.
  2. Prepare 1 of bell pepper.
  3. You need 1/2 of sweet onion.
  4. Prepare 1 tbs of chopped garlic.
  5. Prepare 4 tbs of gochujang paste.
  6. It’s 1 pack of frozen peas.
  7. It’s 4 tbs of korean corn syrup.
  8. Prepare 2 tsp of sesame oil.
  9. Prepare 2 cups of rice.

Spicy Korean Chicken and Rice instructions

  1. Chop chicken thighs into bite sized pieces and add to large heated pan with oil.
  2. Add salt, pepper and seasoning as desired. Still occasionally until chicken is cooked.
  3. Dice onion and bell pepper and add to pan with chopped garlic. Saute with chicken until onions are soft.
  4. Add gochujang paste, corn syrup, and peas (as desired).
  5. Cover and let simmer for ~15-20 mins.
  6. Meanwhile, cook 2 cups of rice.
  7. Serve chicken mixture over rice.
